Polysulfone, also known as PSU, has been mass-produced since 1965.
  - It is a thermoplastic polycondensate.
- Applications: Used in electric connectors.
- General properties: This expensive material is electroplatable, and has high strength, good toughness, good dielectric strength, and dimensional stability.
- Trade Name: Ultrason.
