Introduction

Polyacetal, also known as Acetal, has been mass-produced since 1958.
  - It is a thermoplastic.
- Applications: Used in quality toy parts, handles and knobs, and bearing parts.
- General properties: It is lubricious, strong, and has good dimensional stability. Resistance to creep and fatigue, high abrasion and chemical resistance.
- Trade Name: Delrin, Ultraform.
