| AA Spectre Sensor is a manufacture of premium performance industrial and aerospace pressure transducers. Decades of application experience and custom design enable Spectre the ability to quickly prototype, build and deliver your selection of premium performance pressure sensors.
Their unique expertise is providing the highest performance and reliable sensors specifically designed and manufactured to meet your application conditions. All the design, manufacturing, assembly, testing and calibration are done in house. This is accomplished in part by their fully automated CNC machine and manual machine shop. All of Spectre’s series of digital transmitters are manufactured and tested in environmental chambers that simulate the customer’s exact pressure and temperature conditions. Accuracies of 0.05% are standard in pressure sensors with optional accuracies to 0.03%.
Spectre is not another me-too supplier of strain gage or oil fill pressure transducers. Here is a quick list of some of their advantages on their standard units. Further technical review of their sensors advantages are listed on their website under the TECHNOLOGY tab.
1. General Purpose/Industrial - Utilizes an oil-free, o-ring free pressuresensorwith a sensor technology providing up 70 times the output of conventionalstrain gage sensors.
2. High Accuracy/ Digital - All the advantages of the industrial (long term stability, greater output, and no oil-fill) with the ability to achieve accuracies of 0.03% with their digital electronics.
3. Combination Temperature/Pressure Transducer – Multiple outputs from one sensor.
4. Pressure Spike – Robust sensors specifically designed for cyclic applications with pressure spikes. Sensor is machined from one piece of stainless steel stock with no welds, no oil-fill, and no o-rings.
5. Oil-Free Sanitary – The first available oil-freesanitary pressure/temperature sensor! Thicker diaphragm with no lossinsensor sensitivity and superior temperature compensation. Unlike allother manufactures, Spectre’s temperature compensation is done at the sensor face, not behind the entire fluid fill.
6. Oil-Free Differential – More rugged with no liability of product contamination or potential explosion caused by media incompatibility.
7. Oil-free submersible – More rugged design withdigital electronics for premium performance over large temperature ranges.
8. UL Approved Hazardous Area – Years of in-house expertise in hazardous area applications and chemical compatibility.
9. State of the Art Machine Shop providing fast delivery on custom designs and prototypes.
10. Custom designs are their specialty!
