Admotec's new EK600 family of magnetic encoder kits work better in tough applications. They provide speed and position sensing solutions for shafts from 2 to 140mm (1/16"" to 5.5"") over a temperature range of -40?°C to 115?°C (-40?°F to 240?°F) in harsh environments. With resolutions to 3,000 cycles (pulses) per revolution, available marker pulse, line driver outputs, and channel frequencies to 500 kHz, EK600 encoders work where opticals don't. With wheel diameters from 6 to 150mm (1/4"" to 6"") and an ID sized to fit your application, these rugged quadrature encoders provide up to 10 times the resolution of comparable gear-tooth sensors in the same applications. They install quickly and easily without the delicate alignment associated with optical encoder kits, and tangential sensing means that axial end-play problems are a thing of the past. EK600 encoders can be easily custom-configured for your application and are perfect for high resolution feedback on large shafts, torque angle sensing, engine testing, large motor and generator feedback, machine tool spindles, etc.

Rotasyn solid-rotor resolvers provide high performance in critical applications. The Rotasyn's unique design and solid-rotor make it much simpler than traditional resolvers, resulting in increased reliability and improved performance. With rotational speeds to 100,000 RPM, Rotasyns can be used where traditional resolvers can't.The Rotasyn is mechanically and electrically compatible with traditional brushless resolvers and can replace them as original equipment or in retrofit applications. Standard sizes include size 15, 21, and 30; larger units can be made on request.
