About APEM Components, Inc.

APEM was established in France in 1952 for the manufacture of industrial switches. In 1971 after enjoying years of solid growth, APEM established a second manufacturing facility in France for the manufacture of miniature switches. In 1976 APEM began a strategy of international expansion by establishing sales subsidiaries in Germany, Belgium, Great Britain and Sweden. APEM's continuing growth and prosperity attracted the attention of MORS, who acquired them in 1983.Under MORS, the switch division continued their pattern of strong growth. To further their goal of becoming a global switch source, MORS acquired American Switch Corp. (ASC) of Wakefield, MA in 1991 to assert a solid presence in the North American market.

Especially noteworthy is that today, with their new beginning, APEM ranks third worldwide in the miniature switch market and continues to pursue a solid record of growth. APEM is a leading worldwide manufacturer of miniature, subminiature and industrial switches and control knobs. They offer exceptional quality and service at fair prices.

APEM's products include toggle, rocker, lever, pushbutton, tact, key, dip, rotary dip, micro-limit, push wheel and slide switches, industrial controls and knobs. APEM is also strong on specials and custom integrated assemblies. Their engineering, R&D and vertically integrated production facilities enable them to provide special configurations or compatible assemblies designed to fit your needs.
