About Columbia Research Laboratories, Inc.

Columbia Research Laboratories, Inc., is a company specializing in highly technical electro-mechanical and electronic instrumentation since 1953. Starting with Piezoelectric Accelerometers, Pressure Transducers and Linear Variable Differential Transformers. Columbia expanded into Force Balance Linear Accelerometers in the 1960's. During the 70's they moved into the Industrial Vibration Monitoring and introduced Inclinometers into the product line. In response to the Aerospace and Military needs they introduced the Series 2684 Foil Strain Sensor for Fatigue Load Monitoring, the only flight qualified line of sensors of this type in the world and Angular Accelerometers to provide extremely high sensitivity and full scale ranges as low as ?±0.01 rad/sec2.

Today Columbia is still leading the way with Dual Mode Vibration/Temperature Sensors and their newest sensor the Model SA-213350 Triaxial Waterproof Force Balance Accelerometer made to perform submerged in salt water up to 250 ft.

Columbia Research Laboratories' constantly growing product line has been and continues to be used from very demanding to relatively simple applications as part of manned and unmanned space vehicles, oil well drilling and borehole mapping. Their products are also used in vibration measurement systems and many general applications throughout the aerospace and industrial marketplace in the areas of manufacturing, testing and research and development where vibration monitoring and displacement measurement are required.

Columbia performs all design, manufacturing and test procedures in-house in order to maintain the highest possible standards of product quality. Columbia's calibration systems conform to the requirements of MIL-STD-45662-A, ISO-100012-1 and ANSI/NCSL Z540.

When performance and reliability are the key requirements, Columbia Research Laboratories, Inc. has the capability to meet your needs and would appreciate your consideration as a potential supplier for your existing and future sensor needs.
