| Glenro is a leading designer and manufacturer of industrial ovens, dryers and infrared heaters. The company specializes in custom engineered gas and electric infrared ovens for predrying, drying, curing, preheating, sintering and heating products that are made in continuous processes. Examples are technical textiles, nonwovens, coated paper, film and fabric webs, tubing, medical devices, catheters and insulated wire. Glenro offers industrial ovens, called Integrated Energy Delivery® Systems, that combine infrared with either ambient air or hot air for increased drying speeds.
Glenro offers infrared heaters for manufacturers who need industrial heaters, but not a complete infrared oven. Radplane® and Radround® electric infrared heaters come in many sizes, voltages and power densities. Gas infrared heaters are available in many BTU ratings. Each infrared industrial heater delivers efficient, uniform infrared heat for industrial applications. Many Glenro industrial heaters feature rapid response infrared heating elements that heat-up and cool-down quickly so that process temperatures are reached quickly on startups and products are protected on line stops. Glenro’s infrared heaters can be zoned across the width of products and in machine direction for uniform and controlled process heating.
Glenro infrared ovens include infrared heat tunnels and drying tunnels that are ideal for narrow and mid width webs, narrow fabrics and other narrow products. The intense infrared heat delivers uniform heat to the product. Precision heating maintains a high level of product quality.
In addition to infrared ovens, Glenro designs and manufactures hot air industrial ovens and process dryers for paper and film converting, coated fabrics and other continuous processes. Glenro’s hot air industrial ovens include impingement dryers, flotation dryers and through-air dryers.
Whether it's a custom engineered industrial infrared oven or a hot air dryer Glenro works closely with customers from process development, through industrial oven selection, design, manufacturing, installation, startup and operation to provide customers with proven solutions® to process heating problems.
Glenro offers flatbed laminating machines for making industrial laminations and fabric laminates. Markets served include technical textiles, medical disposables, filter media, nonwovens, automotive interiors and others. Flatbed laminators use heat, pressure, time and dry hot melt adhesives (web, powder and film adhesives) to create high performance bonding in a compact, clean process. Glenro flatbed laminating machines are used for roll-to-roll and sheet laminating of fabric, foam, film, nonwovens, composites and even rigid materials.
Glenro offers contract laminating services for manufacturing custom specialty laminations, industrial laminates, laminated fabrics and nonwovens, roll and flat sheet laminations and consolidating or densifying nonwovens. Contract lamination services use flatbed dry hot melt adhesive lamination for production runs, market tests and laminating feasibility studies.
Glenro designs and manufactures conveyorized machines that dip coat printed circuit boards in protective conformal coatings and then dry the coatings in one continuous process. The machines offer high quality coating and drying. Dip coating allows conformal coating to get under the components, not just on top, for high quality encapsulation.
Glenro’s air pollution control equipment consists of three types of fume oxidizers for control of VOCs smoke and odor: regenerative thermal oxidizers (RTO), recuperative thermal oxidizers and recuperative catalytic oxidizers. Glenro offers integrated drying ovens with oxidizers and heat recovery for energy efficient and environmentally compliant drying of solvent based coatings on webs and fabrics. |
