Honeywell's Solid State Electronics Center (SSEC) is a leading supplier of specialized integrated circuits for aerospace and military markets, and a manufacturer of sensors and electronics for a variety of commercial applications.

SSEC's commitment to provide customers with the highest quality products and services is supported by continuously improving Total Quality Management (TQM) process. SSEC's primary objective is to ""delight"" customers by understanding their requirements and exceeding their expectations.

SSEC offers four families of products:

• Aerospace Electronics (radiation hardened integrated circuits)
• Magnetic Sensors
• Pressure Sensors
• High Temperature Products

Advanced research in emerging technologies includes Gallium Arsenide CHFET for GHz performance and nonvolatile memories can offers solutions for next generation systems. SSEC also continues to enhance its sensors product performance and is a pioneer in the research, development and manufacture of silicon microsensors.

Technical Services provided by SSEC include application support, technical training and design support services.

The SSEC facility in Plymouth, Minnesota has a full design and production capability. Honeywell SSEC currently employs approximately 650 people.
