Thornton specializes in pure and ultrapure water systems with measurements such as resistivity/conductivity, dissolved oxygen, flow, pressure, pH, ORP, temperature, and total organic carbon.

Thornton products are commonly found in semiconductor manufacturing facilities, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, power and steam generation plants, food and beverage production, and chemical companies. Thornton also serves a broad variety of end-users through original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), who incorporate Thornton instrumentation into their own products.

Thornton's newest innovation is the 5000TOC Total Organic Carbon sensor (pictured above). When connected to Thornton's flagship 770MAX multiparameter instrument, the 5000TOC sensor offers low detection limits with fast, continuous monitoring. This sensor makes the 770MAX the first on-line transmitter to offer MULTIPLE TOC and conductivity measurements on a user-configurable multiparameter instrument platform. Smart sensor technology makes installation and startup fast and simple.

Thornton, the recognized leader in the measurement of high purity resistivity and conductivity, works closely with several international organizations in establishing standards in the fields where its products are used.
