About Phoenix Instruments, Inc.
Phoenix Instruments Inc. is the leader in the field of advance technology opacity monitoring systems and CEMS (continuous emissions monitoring systems). Phoenix Instruments, Inc. was formed in 1989 by former staff of Dynatron Inc. Engineering, Service, and Production staff. The start-up mission was to provide users of opacity and Continuous Emissions Monitoring (CEM) equipment with economical, high-quality maintenance, repair, calibration, and start-up support they were accustomed to, before the sale of Dynatron, Inc.
With a large customer base established, Phoenix used their years of instrumentation and system design experience to manufacture an improved line of the highest quality, replacement parts for Dynatron; opacity, oxygen, carbon monoxide, dilution extraction and data acquisition systems.
Phoenix EPA compliance opacity monitors use a high intensity green LED light source. Non compliant LED light source opacity monitors are also available. All compliance opacity systems are guaranteed to exceed all EPA 40 CFR 60 and ASTM opacity certification requirements.
Phoenix Instruments, Inc. opacity monitors help companies monitor the amount of visible emissions, smoke or opacity created during their combustion process. Opacity monitors, or continuous opacity monitoring systems (COMS ) are used most often to comply with EPA requirements.
Research and development began in 1990 on development of the Phoenix Instrument, Model 1000 computer controlled dilution extraction system, OPAC20/20 green LED compliance opacity monitor, red LED non-compliance opacity monitor, and DAS for CEMS and COMS. Systems are currently in operation around the World. |
