SRC Devices was formed by the acquisition of the dry reed switch organizationfrom Clare Inc. in 2001, in combination with the existing reed relay and gasdischarge tube surge product lines acquired from Sumida America Corporation.

The reed switch manufacturing is done at their ISO9000 certified facility inSt. Louis, while their other products (reed relay and gas discharge tubes) aremanufactured at their ISO/QS9000 certified facility in Guadalajara, Mexico.
