PythonX Structural Steel Fabrication System by Burlington Automation is a flexible plasma cutting center that does the work of an entire shop full of traditional equipment. This robotic technology replaces beam drill lines, band saws, plate burning centers, angle lines, coping machines and more. It will perform all your drilling and cutting needs for beams, HSS, channel, angle and plate by drilling AISC accepted structural bolt holes, slots, notches, cope cuts, bevel cuts and weld prep, cut to length and square up, miter cuts and marking/scribing.
The PythonX system saves floorspace, material handling and reduces operator involvement to a minimum. It can determine all its cutting instructions by reading downloaded CAD files of the part to be cut. This eliminates errors and even compensates for out-of-spec material by placing the cut s and features exactly where they need to be.
