Sino Mould Co., Ltd. is the world famous plastic mould manufacturers in China, from 1999 a small workshop until today, SINO MOULD has a great achievements in plastic mould design and manufacturing. The quality standard is based on MTS's requirements combined with DME standard plastic mould base and plastic mould components dimensions and quality.  <<sino plastic mould design standard>> and <<sino plastic mould manufacturing standard>>, the introduction and implementation of this two quality standards caused the great improvements of SINO MOULD'S quality…from that time, SINO MOULD know what's the European requirements for the plastic mould, and the teams have gained the very top quality conception and mentality.

From 1999 to 2010, SINO MOULD has invested more than 20M USD of various plastic mould tooling equipments.
In July of 2005 year, SINO MOULD has carried out the quality managements according with TS16949, under this managements standard, SINO MOULD improved the quality management system. We always use tempering harden treatment to the cavities and cores steel, we keep the cavities and cores hardness HRC48+/-2.

How to make a good crate mould ? To make a good crate mould, you need to know the technical points and the quality points of a crate mould as follows.

    How to make a crate mould long life running? 
  • choose the correct steel for mould base and mould main steel. For example, if you need to make a 4 cavities crate mould, then you need to make to use a pre-hardened steel with HRC bigger then 33 for mould base. You have to choose the correct steel or material for the durable mould components.
  • make the correct harden treatment to each steel piece and make the steel hardness controlled, you can not make it too hard.
  • the moving area or guiding system of crate mould must be very precise machining processed. Any hand working on it is not acceptable.
  • if the plastic crate is one-time using, some of the molding company, they use recycled material to make the injection. Then we have to consider about this 2 points.  A. how to be sure the small iron piece and the pebbles will not damage the cavities and cores. B. how to avoid the small iron piece and the pebbles enter into the cavities? How to make a crate mould with high speed performance?
  • Good plastic material filling system, you need a very special hot runner system, because if you need to molding a durable plastic crate, then you need to use low MFI HDPE, such like MFI=4 or even MFI=6……
  • You need to make the cooling the best optimal effect, for durable plastic crate mould, you need to use mold-max on the molding area with excellent cooling water channel design, for one-time use crate, you need to use tempering steel with excellent cooling system designed….
  • You need the high speed injection molding machine to run it, the screw RPM should be bigger then 350. in the world, now most of the crate manufacturers they use an accumulator to increase the melt and injection speed.
  • Plastic crate mould design also is very important, it is better to use a mechanical system onto the crate mould ejection, in this way, you can make the ejection action when the mould opening. Of course, maybe your machine can work with the 2 hydraulic acting in the same time, then you can do the ejection when the mould opening.
  • For all kinds of mould, the high speed running is based on the mould is précised machining, the movement parts with accurate guided…otherwise, there is none possibility for a mould high speed performance. 
  • plastic crate mould’s handle area venting solution: this is an important issue, as because when the crate was loaded and the people carry the crate, the 2 handle area will be the biggest force focused. If on the mould, this area’s air venting is not perfect, there will be a very obviously jointing line. The damage are always come from this line.

  • PET Preform Mold components machining process.

From 2008 to 2010 May, we have invested more than 3 millions tooling machines from Europe and Japan which are especially for PET Preform Mold manufacturing. All the components of the mould will be made accordingly to our 2D prints tooling drawings, on the the drawing, there are tolerances, tooling process, material hardness…all the details. When the parts on the machines, it was measured to be sure the dimensions are meeting our tolerance. Before the components moving to assembling workshop, the QC department will make one more time measuring to be sure the dimensions are meeting the drawing's tolerances.

  • PET Preform Mold’s components are interchangeable.

Due to the high precise machining and rigorous dimensions controlling, in our PET Preform Mold all the same parts realized interchangeable, and for so many components which are same in different moulds, we kept them as the stocks for faster delivery time and prompt services to our customers.

  • PET Preform Mold injection molding speed.

We considered the mould running speed from the mould design, such like injection system, guiding system, ejection system and cooling system. In one cycle time, for example 28 seconds, the cooling time take 12 seconds, for this reason, we have considered to make the cooling outside of the mould by one vice cavities group, on these vice cavities, we used chilling water on it. By this way we can reduce around 10 seconds for each cycle.

  • PET Preform Mold security system.

We have designed the electronic eye on the PET Preform Molds to be sure that if there is some preform has not drop down, the mould will not closed. Also there is stroke switches on the mould to be sure the ejection return strokes are correct. In this way, we kept sure that the mould will be long life running.

  • PET Preform Mold mass production simulation.

Before the moulds shipment, we take at least 8 hours mould mass production speed running on our especial PET injection molding machine, to be sure that there will be none problems when the PET Preform Molds arrive our customer's workshop.

  • PET Preform quality:

1. Water connections consolidated at the bottom of the mold, eliminating the potential for water marks on preforms.
2.Variety of stack designs and surface finish options to allow each application to be optimized to meet customer's specific needs.
