NiChrome 80

Nichrome 80/20 is a high grade austenitic alloy. Due to its ductibility and strength at high temperature, Nichrome 80/20 is especially suitable for applications in the electrical appliance industry. In industrial furnace use Nichrome 80/20 has many advantages due to its excellent mechanical properties in the hot state. Nichrome 80/20 has superior life compared to competitive NiCr alloys because of the extremely good adhesion properties of the surface oxide.

Typical applications for Nichrome 80/20 are ironing machines, water heaters, plastic moulding dies, soldering irons, metal sheathed tubular elements, cartridge elements and so on.

FeCrAl Heating Alloy 0Cr25Al5

NiWire 0Cr25Al5 is a high-temperature ferritic iron-chromium-aluminium alloy (FeCrAl alloy) which is recommended for element temperatures up to 1250°C. It is especially recommended where excellent oxidation and life properties in combination with good form stability properties are required. 0Cr25Al5 is used in electrical heating elements in industrial furnaces and in the appliance industry.

0Cr25Al5 is a best grade of FeCrAl heating alloy to replace Kanthal series.

Nickel 201

Nickel 201 is a low carbon variety compared with Nickel 200, possessing low annealed hardness and a very low work-hardening rate, desirable for cold forming operations. It is highly resistant to corrosion by neutral and alkaline salt solutions, fluorine and chlorine, but in oxidising salt solutions severe attack will occur.

The applications of pure nickel includes food and synthetic fiber processing equipment, electronic parts, aerospace and missile components, handling of sodium hydroxide above 300?.

Copper Nickel Alloy CuNi44

CuNi 44, also called Constantan, has a very low temperature coefficient, high electrical resistance, high ductility and non-corroding properties. It is suitable for use at temperatures up to 600°C (1110°F). As a very malleable, very ductile alloy, it has a very good resistance to oxidation.

The alloy is non-magnetic. It is suitable for electrical resistors, potentiometers, heating wires, heating cables and mats. Ribbons are used for heating of bimetals.Another field of application is manufacturing of thermocouples because it develops a high electromotive force (EMF) in association with others metals.
