Hydraulic equipments are machines and tools which employ hydraulic systems to do works which mainly control a wide range of components by transmitting a force through a confined fluid. The fluid used in hydraulic systems is often oil or water and is considered incompressible. The principle of hydraulics is thus based on Pascal's law: when there is an increase in pressure at any point in a confined fluid, there is an equal increase at every other point in the container.
A typical hydraulic system may include the following components: Hydraulic pump, Control valves, Actuators, Reservoir, Accumulators, Hydraulic fluid, Filters, Tubes, pipes and hoses, Seals, fittings and connections.
