Packaging and labeling are originally the final step of manufacturing that sorts, counts, and divides mass production products or components into smaller quantities, places them into packages, and marks with labels before transporting to distributors, retailers or customers. Today, however, packaging and labeling has become a science, art and technology of enclosing, protecting, and/or marketing products for distribution, storage, sale, and use.
Since products and components come in different sizes, shapes, and states, the packaging and labeling equipment may vary accordingly in order to accumulates, forms, sorts, counts, fills, seals, wraps, cleans, packages, labels, and inspects them.
