Message No. 12606, Started by Booster on 11/26/03
Hi guys.  I have a question concerning electronics.  2 parts.  Battery's and capaciters.  I'd like to know if a typical farmer, could come up with the materials to convert a industrial size barrel (plastic) into a battery.  Could it also be a rechargable battery.  Isnt there an electrolitic solution that is merely a form of salt water?  What type of metal plates?   Does a coil of wire around such a barrel then make this a coil?,, im in search of a (home style) electrical storage device, weather it be a battery bank or giant capacitor which one could drain off certain amounts of the electricity.  The input power will be millions of volts and low amperage.
