Message No. 20746, Started by rainycat on 08/25/09 Surface finish notation I have a partial component drawing with a 25mm bore 1500mm deep. The surface finish requirement is denoted as -  63[1.6] (and the surface finish symbol). I'm only familiar with the usual Ra type measurement, which I'm guessing is the 1.6 figure. Can anyone explain the 63 figure?   thanks
