We have installed Butterfly valves on 12" Fire Water system & It has come to our notice that they tend to fail on at such a high pressure. It is also not possible to put Gate Valves as they are very costly. Neither can ball valves be provided. Can you suggest some solution by suggesting what type of valve should we use and replace the extisting butterfly valve?
