Neil, thanks for the reply.  Perhaps the way I stated the problem was unclear.  I'm having trouble figuring out the pressure between the tubing and the head.  I have no way of judging what the resulting force is due to the press fit.

Thanks for the reply though.  It's a weird application as it's an instrument doctors will use to burrow through hard muscle/bone/cartiledge mass.  You can really tell a doc to not got about so many ft-lbs when they're using a hand tool.  I more or less want to see if a human body could make it slip or not.  If so, a redesign may be in order.
