Engineering vs. Sales
hear hear! I agree wholeheartedly with all. what I hate is when the salespeople think they know enough engineering to design the widget before engineering is ever consulted. by the time engineering finally gets it the selling price is too low and the specifications are impossible to meet. the only way to build what the customer really wants is to bust the budget and/or throw the specifications out the window.... but that makes engineering look like the bad guy, when in reality, we were the ones that pulled everyone out of the fire.
