I am afraid I am far from a genius, as I would not be sitting here in this stinking cubical for nine hours a day if I was.  I guess I over simplified the problem and missed some key points: photons are massless.  But, I don't believe I was too far off from the general premise that energy and mass are interchangeable.

I appreciate your willingness to ponder the question posed.
