Basically, you are saying that there is some higher cause/truth that nobody understands, not even you. Oppositely, the only thing you know about it is that it's not "warlike", and that hypothetical aliens know more about it than you. One may note that this contradicts your earlier statement about the non-existence of truth. But maybe with your deep insight in the nature of "consiousness", it all makes sense:-p

Assuming the laws of physics are constant throuhout space (not a very controversial argument among the scientific community) there is a good chance an alien society can understand our technology, maybe in part they are using it themselves. Trying to contact alien societys, using our technology, is thus a rather good approach (moreover, it's the only approach).

If science where to learn from you, and devote it's effort to ungrounded speculations about undefined things, then the scientific community would indeed be ready for the trash can. The competition on that market is already murderous.
