What Programming Language is best for Mechanical Engineers?
If you have MicroSoft Excel or any other MS Office program (Word, PowerPoint, Access), you can start teaching yourself VB and VBA, since the macros are all in VBA.  You might as well start with what is available right in front of you.

I plan to learn C++ in the next year.  It is better for application development than VB.
