Poor Drafting Practices
Whichs brings me to another aspect of this issue. IMHO, prints should NEVER (if I could figure out how to make that bold red and flashing I would) be scaled for that very reason, printers and duplication processes and paper expansion/contraction all induce errors. If there is a missing dimension, then the drawing is flawed and needs to be changed anyway, call the drafter on the carpet and get the right number.
