Poor Drafting Practices
Alext, your response brings up another point that does not seem very well stressed in school. Not everyone speaks or reads English all that well, instead of getting verbose with notes, drafters should try to use ISO/ANSI standardized symbols and GD&T to covey the design intent and required tolerances as much as possible. This is becoming more of a common issue here in Houston as more and more machinists and fabricators in the area speak only spanish. Increasingly it is a international business climate where drawings made in one country are used to manfacture the product in another.
