Current Topic:
Pounds Mass vs. Force
1 slug = 1G/1 lbf = (32.174 ft/s^2)/ 1 lbf

1 slug = 32.174 lbm

Anyone who decries the legitimacy of lbm as a unit of mass is not really cognizant of reality.  In this reality, gravity is constant enough to be used as a means to measure mass.

Still trying to divine why someone is reposting to a thread that's been dead for 6 months.  Slow day at the water cooler, perhaps?
