Feasibility question
Gerd,

Someday, I hope to cut the financial strings that tie me to my present profession and be a physics teacher.

When I become a physics teacher, I am going to have a "Gerd Day" each semester.  On that day, my students will be assigned to look through your posts and be tasked to identify all the errors (is one day enough?).  There will be a special prize and an "A" grade for whoever is the first to laugh out loud.

Your understanding of nuclear fusion is fundamentally flawed.  Learn and understand the term "binding energy per nucleon", then reexamine your position.

"Energy flows from positive to negative."  Poppycock!  Electrons are negative (which is only an arbitrary term, really).  Electrons and there energy flow from negative to positive.  For that matter, positive and negative are only meaningful in a relative comparison of two terminals.
