Current Topic:
drilling delrin

does anyone know how to drill a straight hole through delrin 1/8 dia by 1.000" deep or deeper, tolerance on location of the hole breaking through is (+) (-) .001,  or whatever is the best we can do

using a regular twist drill, what should be the rpm and feed ?

are there special drills available, a standard twist drill doesn't have much self centering tendency if the material cuts like butter

what cutting tool geometry is the most favorable ?

anyone with any experience in delrin, teflon or other plastics,

Thanks in advance

Thanks in advance
