John, 

I would like to clarify about the parameters. Does the 'static strength'  mean the ultimate strength? Moreover, the 'stress of the beam' can be calculalted from the flexure equation: s=M*y/I where s is the strength of the beam, M is the bending moment,  y is the maximum distance from the neutral axis and I is the moment of inertia?
