Properties of Diesel Fuel
Dear Rudi,

The composition of commercially available diesel fuel varies.  Their properties greatly depend on the origin, additives and process.
For instance, the specific gravity of the type 2 Diesel ranges 0.82 - 0.95 kg/m^3 (at 0 deg C, 1 atm), kinematic viscosity may varies from 1.5 to 4.5 (centistroke).
There is a couple of references may be helpful for you,
E.M. Goodger, "Hydrocarbon Fuels; production, Properties and Performance of Liquids and Gases", Macmillan, London.
J. W. Rose and J.R. Cooper "Technical Data on Fuel" British National Committee, World Energy Conference.

However, I will suggest you consult the manufacturers for specified information.

Best Regards,

D. Wu
