Ozogg - I actually wrote a correction to my former post, but it did not get posted as our server went down.  My clarification was that I was speaking of linear displacements, not angular ones.  As you have attested to (at GREAT length), angular displacements are not vectors.  This is true no matter how hard you bang on the keyboard to get a bunch of letters behind your name...
