Fundamentals of Microalloyed Steel Forge Processing
Hi,
Dr. Funda is not an expert in metallurgy and does not want to pretend to be one. The forging process of these microalloyed steels (sometimes called High-Strength Low-Alloy steels) requires accurate temperature control and controlled-rate cooling. Air cooling is generally good, though. The following book has more details:
