Want formula to calculate roll diameter based on thickness

I am trying to work through this with a pit liner we will be removing.

 

L = 400' (4800")

T = 30 mil (.03")

R1 = 3"

R2 + ?

? = (4800*.03/3.14+3^2)^.5

? = (4800*.03/3.14+9)^.5

? = (144/3.14+9)^.5

? = (45.86+9)^.5

? = 54.86^.5

? = 7.41"

Does this look correct? Using an online calaulator from HandyMath I get 13.87".
