Want formula to calculate roll diameter based on thickness
L = material length
T = material thickness
R1 = core radius
R2 = total (outer) radius

Consider a single layer, unrolled.
T*L = cross-sectional area

The same applies on a roll, where area is also given by pi * (R2^2 - R1^2)

continuing:

pi * (R2^2 - R1^2) = L*T

R2^2 - R1^2 = L*T / pi

R2^2 = (L*T / pi) + R1^2

R2 = (L*T/pi + R1^2) ^ .5
