Millable Polyurethane rubber is made from both polyester and polyether polyols. It has outstanding abrasion, oil, oxygen and ozone resistance. It maintains good flexibility at low temperature and exhibits good resistance to compression set. Millable Polyurethane is suitable for dynamic and static seal of o-rings in the environment containing the following chemicals: Air below 200 C, Ammonium Carbonate, Ammonium Sulfate, ASTM Fuel A, ASTM Oil One, ASTM Oil Three, Borax Solutions, Boric Acid, Calcium Chloride, Calcium Hydroxide, Calcium Sulfide, Carbon Monoxide, Carbonic Acid, Castor Oil, Citric Acid, Cod Liver Oil, Corn Oil, Crude Oil (Asphalt Base), Dow Corning 550, Elco 28 Lubricant, Ethyl Mercaptan, Ethyl Oxalate, Freon 114, Freon 12, Petroleum Base Grease, Helium, Hydrogen Gas, Mercuric Chloride, Mercury, Type 1 Fuel MIL-S-3136, Mineral Oils, Neatsfoot Oil, Gas Nitrogen, Oronite 8200, Cold Oxygen, Ozone, Pine Oil, Potassium Nitrate, Potassium Sulfate, Producer Gas, Silicone Grease, Silicone Oils, Silver Nitrate, Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Chloride, Stearic Acid, Tannic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Type A Transmission Fluid, Turbine Oil, Fresh Water.
O-Ring material Millable Polyurethane is usually suitable for static seal in the environment containing Acetylene Gas, Aluminium Chloride, Aluminium Sulfate, Cold Gas Ammonia, Ammonium Chloride, Animal Oil, Arachlor 1248, ASTM Fuel D, ASTM Oil Two, Automatic Transmission Fluid, Bunker Oil, Cyclohexane, Dibenzyl Ether, Ethyl Acetoacetate, Ethyl Cellulose, Ethylene, Ethylene Glycol, Freon 112, Freon 113, Heptane, Hexane, Isopropyl Ether, JP 5 MIL-J5624, Linsed Oil, Petroleum Base Lubricating Oils, Lye, Methyl Acetate, Methyl Alcohol, MIL-F-25656, MIL-G-25760, MIL-H-5606, Naphthalene, N-Hexaldehyde, Oleic Acid, Oxalic Acid, Peanut Oil, Petroleum Oil, Transformer Oil Pyranol, Rapeseed Oil, Red Oil, RJ-1 (MIL-F-25558), Sodium Carbonate, Soyabean Oil, Stoddard Solvent, Sulfur Hexafluoride, Tetraethyl Lead. O-Ring material Millable Polyurethane is sometimes ok for static seal but not for dynamic seal in the environment containing chemicals such as Alkazene, Aluminium Nitrate, Argon, Benzine (Ligroin), Tung Oil China Wood Oil, Diethylamine, Dow Guard, Ethane, Ethyl Chloride, Formaldehyde, Freon 13, Hydrochloric Acid, JP 3 MIL-J5624, JP 4 MIL-J5624, JP 6 MIL-J5624, Methane, Methanol, JP-5 JP-4 JP-3 MIL-J 5624, MIL-L-25681, Natural Gas, Styrene Monomer, Sulfur Chloride, Wet Sulfur Dioxide Gas.
