Cast Sheet Acrylic is a subcategory of Polyacrylates. It is specially formulated to cast sheet. Its elastic modulus ranges from 390 to 475 MPa. Its flexural modulus ranges from 320 to 3210 MPa. Its tensile strength ranges from 6600 to 11000 MPa at break. Its flexural strength ranges from 12000 to 17000 MPa. Its compressive strength ranges from 11000 to 19000 MPa. Its Izod Impact strength ranges from 0.3 to 0.4 J/cm. Its elongation at break ranges from 2 to 7 %. Its hardness ranges from 80 to 102 Rockwell M. Its specific gravity ranges from 1.17 to 1.2. Its coefficient of thermal expansion ranges from 50 to 90 x 10-6/°C. Its melting temperature ranges from 90 to 105 °C.

Polyacrylates, also known as Acrylic, is a thermoplastic polymer. It is known for its transparency, elasticity and resistance to breakage. Acrylic is commonly used in molding and extrusion compounds.
