RIM Solid, Unfilled PDCP is a subcategory of Polydicyclopentadiene. The additative is added during the manufacturing process. Its elastic modulus ranges from 240 to 280 MPa. Its molding pressure ranges from 0.02 to 0.05 MPa.
Polydicyclopentadiene, also known as PDCP, is a thermoset. Common trade names include Telene, Metton, and Pentam . It is high in impact resistance, chemical corrosion resistance, and it has a high heat deflection temperature (or HDT, the temperature at which a polymer or plastic sample deforms under a specified load). PDCP can be found in body panels for tractors, construction equipment, trucks and buses.
