Unfilled PETG Polyester is a subcategory of Polyester. The additative is added during the manufacturing process. Its melting temperature ranges from 81 to 91 °C. Its molding pressure ranges from 1 to 20 MPa.
Polyester is a thermoplastic or thermoset polycondensate. Common trade names are Valox and Celanex. poly(ethylene-terephthalate glycol) It has excellent dimensional stability, high dielectric strength, and good toughness. It has moderate chemical resistance, low resistance to strong acids and bases, and is notch sensitive. However, it is not recommended for outdoor use or in hot water. Polyester is very popular in making clothing and handles.
