Molding Grade PE is a subcategory of Polyethylene. It is specially formulated to molding grade. Its elastic modulus ranges from 50 to 500 MPa. Its flexural modulus ranges from 70 to 350 MPa. Its tensile strength ranges from 1600 to 4600 MPa at break. Its flexural strength ranges from 2000 to 6500 MPa. Its compressive strength ranges from 2000 to 5500 MPa. Its Izod Impact strength ranges from 1 to 20 J/cm. Its elongation at break ranges from 10 to 440 %. Its hardness ranges from 55 to 80 Shore D. Its specific gravity ranges from 0.95 to 1.45.

Polyethylene, also known as PE, is a thermoplastic polymer. Common trade names include Marlex, Alathon, and Hostalen. crosslinked It has good toughness at low temperatures and is inexpensive. PE is the largest volume commodity plastic. It is widely used in blow-molded beverage bottles, auto gas tanks, and extruded pipes.
Additional Information
Other common Polyethylene (PE) include PE, PE, PE, PE, PE, PE, Rubber Modified PE, PE, PE, PE, 30% Glass Fiber Reinforced PE, and Wire and Cable Grade PE.
