53% Glass / Mineral Reinforced High Elongation and Impact PPS is a subcategory of Polyphenylene Sulfide. The additative is added by weight during the manufacturing process. Its coefficient of thermal expansion ranges from 32 to 80 x 10-6/°C. Its molding pressure ranges from 7 to 15 MPa.
Polyphenylene Sulfide, also known as PPS, is a thermoplastic polycondensate. The most common trade name is Ryton. It has high temperature resistance (230 ºC continuous), low temperature endurance, good chemical resistance, and flame retardance. PPS can be used to make high performance electrical connectors and other high stress parts.
