40% Long Glass Fiber Reinforced PP is a subcategory of Polypropylene. The additative is added by weight during the manufacturing process. Its elastic modulus ranges from 970 to 1120 MPa. Its flexural modulus ranges from 920 to 1000 MPa. Its tensile strength ranges from 10500 to 15600 MPa at break. Its flexural strength ranges from 20800 to 25200 MPa. Its compressive strength ranges from 10400 to 15900 MPa. Its Izod Impact strength ranges from 8 to 10.04 J/cm. Its molding pressure ranges from 6 to 12 MPa.

Polypropylene, also known as PP, is a thermoplastic, (crystalline), polymer. Common trade names are Marlex HGL and Fortilene 1800 series (FDA materials). homopolymer Its key attributes are high lubricity, high resistance to flexing (excellent material for living hinges), excellent dielectric strength and chemical resistance, good impact strength, and high solvent resistance.
