30% Carbon Fiber EMI Shielding (conductive) PSU is a subcategory of Polysulfone. The additative is added by weight during the manufacturing process. Its elastic modulus ranges from 2120 to 2900 MPa. Its flexural modulus ranges from 2000 to 2600 MPa. Its tensile strength ranges from 26000 to 30000 MPa at break. Its flexural strength ranges from 36000 to 38000 MPa. Its Izod Impact strength ranges from 1.2 to 1.6 J/cm. Its elongation at break ranges from 1.3 to 2.5 %. Its specific gravity ranges from 1.47 to 1.48. Its molding pressure ranges from 10 to 20 MPa.

Polysulfone, also known as PSU, is a thermoplastic polycondensate. The most common trade name is Ultrason. poly(ethersulfone) It is an expensive material. It is electroplatable and has high strength, good toughness, good dielectric strength, and dimensional stability. It is commonly used in electric connectors.
