High Hardness TPE is a subcategory of Thermoplastic elastomers. It is specially formulated to high hardness. Its elastic modulus ranges from 0.34 to 34.1 MPa. Its flexural modulus ranges from 2.7 to 300 MPa. Its tensile strength ranges from 950 to 4000 MPa at break. Its compressive strength ranges from 22 to 39 MPa. Its Izod Impact strength ranges from 5 to 16 J/cm. Its elongation at break ranges from 20 to 600 %. Its hardness ranges from 40 to 70 Shore D. Its specific gravity ranges from 0.9 to 1.15. Its coefficient of thermal expansion ranges from 36 to 110 x 10-6/°C. Its melting temperature ranges from 163 to 165 °C. Its molding pressure ranges from 6 to 10 MPa.
Thermoplastic elastomers, also known as TPE, is a thermoplastic. polyolefin
