Palm Software OS 5 Support - Mar 3, 2003
The original Palm software eFunda developed was based on a runtime environment called CASL which provides a quick development platform. The disadvantage is the need for CASL runtime and the programs run much slower than compiled code. Since Palm introduced its OS 5 last year, the current CASL runtime no longer runs on the newer machines such as Tungsten T. Instead of waiting for CASL to release it's OS 5 compatible version, we've decided to rewrite the Programs in C from scratch. The first title made available is UnitsIQ, while LoanIQ and ElementsIQ will follow within two months. Download a copy of the new UnitsIQ 2.0 here.
