The I-Beams are identified by:
S DEPTH (inches) × WEIGHT PER UNIT LENGTH (pound force per foot)
For Example: S18 × 54.7 is an I-Beam with a Depth of 18 inches and having a Nominal Weight per Foot of 54.7 lbf/ft.
