Injection PAN is a subcategory of Polyacrylonitrile. It is specially formulated to injection. Its elastic modulus ranges from 500 to 580 MPa. Its flexural modulus ranges from 500 to 590 MPa. Its Izod Impact strength ranges from 2.5 to 6.5 J/cm. Its elongation at break ranges from 3 to 4 %. Its hardness ranges from 60 to 78 Rockwell M. Its specific gravity ranges from 1.11 to 1.15.
Polyacrylonitrile, also known as PAN, is a thermoplastic. PAN can be used in extrusion and injection molding compounds.
