6% Stainless Steel, Long Fiber EMI Shielding (conductive) PA is a subcategory of Polyamide. The additative is added by weight during the manufacturing process. Its elastic modulus ranges from 450 to 1500 MPa. Its flexural modulus ranges from 500 to 1400 MPa. Its tensile strength ranges from 10000 to 11300 MPa at break. Its flexural strength ranges from 16000 to 38700 MPa. Its specific gravity ranges from 1.19 to 1.45. Its melting temperature ranges from 260 to 265 °C. Its molding pressure ranges from 5 to 18 MPa.
Polyamide, also known as PA, is a thermoplastic polycondensate. Common trade names are Ultramid and Zytel. nylon (PA 66) It has high lubricity and moderate strength. It is tough, inexpensive, but has poor dimensional stability due to water absorption (hygroscopic nature). PA is commonly used to make high-lubricity parts such as bearings, blow moldings molds, and clothing fabrics.
