30% Carbon Filled PES is a subcategory of Polyethersulfone. The additative is added by weight during the manufacturing process.
Polyethersulfone, also known as PES, is a thermoplastic polycondensate. It is rigid with high strength, transparent, and it retains its properties between 100°C and 150 °C. It has very high dimensional stability with reproducible properties and controllable size of pores. PES is commonly used as membrane filters in applications such as hemodialysis, waste water recovery, food and beverage processing, and gas separation. Polysulfone has the highest service temperature of all melt-processable thermoplastics.
Additional Information
Other common Polyethersulfone (PES) include 10% Glass Fiber Reinforced PES, 20-30% Glass Fiber Reinforced PES, 20% Mineral Filled PES, and Reinforced PES.
