40% Mineral Reinforced PTA is a subcategory of Polyphthalamide. The additative is added by weight during the manufacturing process. Its flexural modulus ranges from 1080 to 1300 MPa. Its tensile strength ranges from 15800 to 17000 MPa at break. Its flexural strength ranges from 28600 to 30000 MPa. Its specific gravity ranges from 1.53 to 1.54. Its molding pressure ranges from 5 to 15 MPa.
Polyphthalamide, also known as PTA, is a thermoplastic polycondensate.
